## Overview

Before running a consult, you should experience the platform exactly how your patients will.

This means completing the quiz, creating an account, and viewing the generated routine.

## How Patients Access the Quiz

Patients can enter through:

* your branded subdomain: <kbd>yourdomain.skintype.pro/quiz</kbd>&#x20;
* a direct link sent by email or text
* a QR code in the waiting room

All routes take them directly to the quiz.

## Step-by-Step

1. You can access the quiz directly from the PRO Home page
2. Click the quiz link to Start the quiz
3. Complete the questions
4. View results
5. Create an account

## What’s Happening

The quiz collects information about skin behavior, sensitivities, lifestyle factors, and key concerns. This data is used to generate a personalized skincare routine.

## Account vs Guest User

### Create an Account (Recommended)

* Saves results
* Enables reorders
* Allows tracking

### Continue as a Guest

* Results are only visible during that session
* Results are lost after leaving the screen

## Email-Only Behavior

If the patient enters an email but does not complete full account setup, they can still create an account later.

## Why It Matters

Without an account, there is no saved routine, no long-term retention, and a much lower chance of repeat purchase behavior.
